Homecoming season is upon us. Alumni, young and old, will descend upon their old stomping grounds to relive their glory days among longtime friends. Homecomings are just as sweet as a family reunion. The blacker the yard, the sweeter the experience! No shade to other schools, but HBCU homecomings just hit differently. PERIOD! The step show, parade, parties, concerts, football rivalry, dueling bands, and glorious nostalgia is like no other. Being among kinfolk at your alma mater with deep historical and cultural roots is an indescribable experience. Homecoming week is Black excellence at its finest.
