HOW DOES THE SUBSCRIPTION WORK?
As a Brown Sugar Box Subscriber, you’ll get a box filled with the BEST of Izzy & Liv including best sellers, new releases and limited edition (subscriber-only) products.
Your box will include 5-6 products every month. You will always get at least one Izzy & Liv tee, tank or sweatshirt along with other fabulous items -- and as often as we can, we will include items from other black-owned businesses we love!
HOW MUCH IS A BROWN SUGAR BOX SUBSCRIPTION?
The Brown Sugar Box subscription is $39.95 a month with $7.95 shipping.
HOW MUCH WILL THE PRODUCTS IN THE BOX BE WORTH? ARE THEY JUST SAMPLES?
Products included will be full-size products - no sample sizes! The total retail value of items in the box will be $90 or more!
IT SAYS EVERY BOX WILL INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE TEE OR TANK - HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHAT SIZE TO SEND ME?
Yes, every box will include at least one Izzy & Liv tee, tank or maybe even sweatshirt! They may be best sellers, new releases or special edition tees made just for Brown Sugar Box subscribers. Before you add a Brown Sugar Box Subscription to your cart, you will be able to select your preferred style (Unisex or Ladies Fit) and size.
**We recommend going up a size if you choose Ladies Fit. You can view our size chart here.
If at any time in the future you want to change your size preference you will be able to do so by contacting us to update it for you.
From time to time, we may send out surveys asking for additional information such as pant/legging size, hat size etc if we are planning a box to bless you with additional non-tee apparel items. :-)
CAN YOU OFFER ALL THE PRODUCTS YOU SELL AT A DISCOUNT EVERYDAY?
Our Izzy & Liv products are custom made on-demand once an order is received. Unlike large retailers, as a small business, we are unable to mass produce the thousands of SKUs/variants of products that would be needed to save on our costs by buying in bulk. We do not hold inventory. Creating products on-demand is one the reasons why we are able to offer such a wide variety of products, in various colors and sizes, and continue to keep creating more and more new items for you!
That said, this is just one of the reasons we decided to start Brown Sugar Box! In addition to loving the idea of sending our beloved customers a fabulous set of surprise gifts every month, bundling products in a subscription box allows us to provide great products at such steep discounts, because we are able to produce and ship a lot of product, at the same time, in bulk. The higher volumes allow us to source and produce products at a substantial discount and pass those savings on to you, our customers! It also gives us the opportunity to support and shout out fellow black-owned businesses when we are able to include non-Izzy & Liv products in our boxes!

IS THE BROWN SUGAR BOX AVAILABLE OUTSIDE THE U.S.?
Yes! International shipping is available, shipping rates will be based on your location.
WHEN WILL I BE BILLED FOR THE MONTHLY RECURRING MEMBERSHIP?
You will be billed for your first box with your initial purchase when you sign up. Starting with your second box, you will be billed on the 1st of each month going forward, and our boxes will start shipping around the 15th of the month. You will not be billed for the next box until after the box from the current month has been shipped/delivered.You will receive a reminder email 3 days prior to billing. Your subscription will auto-renew each month unless you decide to cancel.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Your subscription can be canceled at anytime in your Brown Sugar Box Account Settings. If you've already been billed/paid for the next box, your cancellation will take effect in the next billing cycle.
To cancel your subscription, log in to your account and click on the Subscription tab, then click "edit" next to your subscription. You can also email us at email@example.com to request that we cancel for you.
NOTE: You must cancel before the 28th of the month in order to not be charged for renewal.
CAN I CHANGE MY MONTHLY BILLING OR SHIPPING DATE?
We are unable to modify the billing or shipping dates for your subscription.
One of the ways we are able to provide great products at such steep discounts is by producing and shipping the items in bulk. The high volume allows us to source and produce products at a substantial discount and pass those savings on to you. Allowing various shipping and billing dates would hinder our ability to take advantage of these great savings on your behalf.
CAN I SIGN UP FOR JUST ONE BOX? AND NOT AUTO RENEW?
Brown Sugar Boxes are only available as part of a subscription. If you’d like to try just one box, buy a monthly subscription, which can be canceled at any time on or before the next box shipment/billing cutoff (28th of each month).
We also offer gift subscriptions that do not renew.
CAN I APPLY AN IZZY & LIV DISCOUNT CODE TO THE BROWN SUGAR BOX?
Izzy & Liv general shop discount codes (including codes received from our prize wheel, promo emails etc) cannot be applied to get an additional discount off of the Brown Sugar Box. Our box items are already heavily discounted and we do not at this time allow stacking of promo code and offers. When we do promotions on the box, that promotion price will be automatically reflected in the box price at sign up.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express credit cards, or debit cards as payment for rebillable subscription orders. Unfortunately, we’re not able to accept checks, money orders, gift cards, or PayPal, or link routing numbers to your account.
WHEN DO YOU SHIP THE BOXES EACH MONTH?
The Brown Sugar Boxes begin shipping around the 15th of each month. The boxes are shipped daily in batches until the last batch is shipped. Once your box ships, you will receive a tracking confirmation via email. We wish we could do it all in one day but with the volume of orders we have to get through, the lengthy process of packing, folding, assembling and verifying each individual box and the transit times which will vary depending on how close or how far you are located from where we ship, people will get their boxes at varying times. Late renewal may cause a delay in receipt.
HOW DO YOU SHIP BOXES EACH MONTH?
Brown Sugar Boxes are ground shipped via DHL Parcel Ground who hands off to USPS for final delivery. The boxes are placed in plain white poly envelopes to remain obscure (and not tempt sticky fingers! :-) )
CAN I PUT MY SUBSCRIPTION ON HOLD?
Yes, you can skip a future delivery and not be billed for it, without having to cancel your entire subscription. In order to do so, you must login into account and under the upcoming billing schedule tab, you will be allowed to process a skip request. To prevent unwanted charges requests should be made by the 28th.
If you are requesting to skip more than 2 months, we suggest cancelling your subscription and returning when you are ready to resume.
I RECEIVED MY BOX AND I AM MISSING AN ITEM, ONE OF MY ITEMS WAS DAMAGED, OR MY SHIRT IS NOT THE SIZE I ORDERED. CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?
If you received your Brown Sugar Box and you are missing an item from your box, an item has been damaged in shipping, or you received the wrong size shirt, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days from receipt of your box and we will replace the item for you. Unfortunately, after 7 days from the date your box has been delivered, we will not replace the item.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?
We do not accept returns or exchanges at this time for Brown Sugar Box items, but we welcome your feedback to improve. Email us at email@example.com to share your thoughts - we value your feedback and our mission is to make every Brown Sugar Box more than worth your while!
HOW CAN I CHANGE MY SIZE AND STYLE PREFERENCES?
WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE SOMETHING IN MY BROWN SUGAR BOX?
Though we cannot accept returns for the brown sugar box deal items we absolutely want to hear from you about what you like and don't like. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us what you didn't love. Your feedback will help us to make sure we make this box as amazing and valuable as it can be. As far as the item(s), you can always give them to a friend, coworker, family member - these items make GREAT gifts!
HOW DO I SHARE MY PICTURE OR UNBOXING VIDEO WITH YOU?
Yes! We live for in living color customer feedback and reviews! Just post your pics or video on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and hashtag #brownsugarbox #izzyandliv. You can also leave a photo review on the Brown Sugar Box subscription page!
HOW CAN I UPDATE MY SHIPPING OR PAYMENT INFORMATION?
You can change your shipping address in your Brown Sugar Box account, or you can Email us at email@example.com to update it for you. If you make any changes to your mailing address in your dashboard anytime after you subscribe or your subscription renews please email us immediately to confirm if it is not too late to have your address manually updated in time for the current box.
You can update your payment information in your Brown Sugar Account as well. Due to security, safety and required encryption, please do not email us with payment information to be updated. That must be done by you and you only, directly via our secure billing system.
MY BOX WAS RETURNED TO YOU. WILL IT BE RESHIPPED?
If your Brown Sugar Box is returned back to us, your box can be reshipped for a fee of $7.99 or credit for the cost of the box will be applied towards your next renewal date. Any changes to your mailing address MUST be made prior to rebilling. Whatever address is on file at the time of renewal on the 28th is the address your box will be shipped to. To verify your address or make updates you can do so in your Brown Sugar Account or alternatively, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can do so for you.
TRACKING SHOWS MY BOX WAS DELIVERED BUT I CAN'T FIND IT.
If your order status indicates "delivered," but you haven't received your package, we advise first trying the following:
-Double check your porch, mailbox, or garage
-Ask your neighbors.
-Ask your building manager
If you are still unable to locate your package don't worry! We understand that things happen. Since we usually do not have leftover boxes, you are eligible for one credit per the calendar year for a box that was reported as delivered but was unreceived. The cost of the box will be applied towards your next renewal date. To find out if you are eligible please reach contact us at email@example.com.
If you feel this could potentially happen again, we would advise updating your shipping address for all future shipments in your account.
